Section 01 · Models
Two Licensing Models
Choose annual or perpetual rights for software you run in your own environment. Confirm the scope in your agreement.
Annual License
Reference range · final pricing scoped per deployment
Use the software for the agreed term. Updates and standard support are included while that term is active. Renew each year.
- Time-bounded right to deploy and operate
- All product updates during active term
- Standard support coverage during term
- Documentation and architecture references
- Anonymized reference access during evaluation
Teams that prefer a yearly budget and support tied to the active licence term.
Perpetual License
Reference range · final pricing scoped per deployment
Keep the right to run the licensed version. Buy the optional annual update entitlement for new releases and security fixes.
- Time-unlimited right to deploy and operate
- Indefinite use of the licensed version
- Optional Annual Version Extension & Update Entitlement
- Optional Enterprise or Sovereign support tier
- Anonymized reference access during evaluation
Teams that need long-term rights to run a licensed version without renewing the base licence.
Private Cloud & DevOps
Separate engagement · independent of license grant
Scope hosting, monitoring, backups and daily support in a separate agreement. Your team or a chosen partner can own that work. State who does each task and what it costs.
- Deployment operations
- Infrastructure monitoring
- Backup & DR operations
- Patch & release coordination
- Identity & secrets management
- Operational change control
Section 02 · Entitlement
Annual Version Extension & Update Entitlement
A separately scoped annual entitlement that extends the perpetual license with continued product releases, security patches, and version compatibility. This is not a subscription. The perpetual license remains valid indefinitely whether or not the entitlement is renewed.
Continued access to product releases, version upgrades, security patches, and compatibility updates for an annual term. Does not modify or replace the underlying perpetual license grant.
Quarterly minor releases · Annual major release · Rolling security patches with defined disclosure and remediation windows.
Software releases, version compatibility, security patches, and update documentation. Excludes infrastructure operation, DevOps execution, cloud provisioning, and hardware procurement, which are scoped under separate engagements.
Annual renewal at the customer's option. Non-renewal does not invalidate or terminate the perpetual license. The licensed version remains operable indefinitely without the entitlement.
This is not a subscription. The perpetual license remains valid indefinitely. The Update Entitlement covers continued releases, security patches, and version compatibility for an annual term.
Procurement, finance, and legal teams should model the entitlement as an optional annual maintenance and version extension agreement — strictly separated from the perpetual grant of usage rights.
Section 03 · Support
Support Model
Compare the three support tiers. Check response terms, available staff and contact channels in the signed schedule. Support scope is separate from licence rights.

Section 04 · Separation
DevOps, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Hardware
The licence grants rights to run the software. Hosting, daily operations and hardware have separate costs and owners.
DevOps, infrastructure, cloud accounts, and hardware are scoped under separate engagements — either operated by the customer's own teams, by a designated systems integrator, or by PrivyCDP's partner network under a distinct statement of work.
This separation keeps the license commercially clean and auditable, and lets procurement model true 3-year and 5-year total cost with each component priced independently.
- License — granted under Annual or Perpetual model
- Updates — covered by Annual Version Extension & Update Entitlement
- Support — Standard / Enterprise / Sovereign tiers
- DevOps — separate engagement (customer, partner, or PrivyCDP)
- Cloud & Hardware — procured directly by the customer
Procurement Note
All references and customer identities are protected under strict NDA. Anonymized deployment and licensing references are available during enterprise evaluation, and full procurement documentation — including license terms, entitlement scope, and support definitions — is provided for legal and finance review.
Detailed pricing, contract configurator, and signing live inside the Enterprise Member Area.
Public reference ranges anchor the procurement conversation. Verified enterprise users access detailed per-profile tiers, deployment-model pricing, the contract configurator, and the agreement-signing workspace.

Pricing covers quote scope; TCO models the operating period; Licensing covers agreement terms. Use the same deployment assumptions across all three.
